Alex and Keren Wright moved to Cincinnati in the Fall of 2023, with the desire to plant a Christ-centered, Reformed church focused on the neighborhood of East Price Hill. Hill of Hope Ministries (H.O.H.M.) is an organization dedicated to connecting Price Hill residents to spiritual and material resources within the neighborhood, and connecting the wider church in Cincinnati to the opportunities and needs of the neighborhood, with the ultimate goal of seeing a new church planted.

Alex spent part of his childhood on Elberon Avenue in Price Hill, when his mom was a student at was was then called Cincinnati Bible College. When his family lived in Price Hill, he attended Schiel School in Corryville and fell in love with Union Terminal, Skyline, and King's Island. After his parents divorced, Alex moved quite a bit within several states, while his family experienced seasons of poverty and instability. Somewhere in all this Jesus revealed Himself to Alex and showed him his need for grace and forgiveness. Christ also demonstrated His care for Alex's family through the Church, which provided houses, food, and relationships within God's family he wouldn't have known otherwise. Alex is a pastor ordained by the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and currently serves as a chaplain for a local senior living community. Alex is also seeking board certification as a chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC).

Keren grew up in Chattanooga, TN, herself the daughter of church planters in the inner-city. Her parents, Randy and Joan Nabors, grew up in the projects of Newark NJ where they came to know Jesus. God called them to help plant a church in their college town of Chattanooga. What began as an inner-city Bible study for kids became New City Fellowship, a cross-cultural church in the PCA focused on serving the poor and the ministry of reconciliation. Keren carries the heart of her parents in serving marginalized communities. Keren is a pre-licensed therapist with experience in serving women and families in vulnerable situations.

Keren and Alex met in seminary and married in 2017. Together, they have three rambunctious boys, Ezekiel (7), Malachi (4), and Gideon (1).
